metal rusts and breaks apart, some things just disintegrate, stone crumbles... touching a light switch'd break that and all the lights connected to it, etc

i use it for distraction or capture while my partner finishes things up

I can see how that sort of thing would be really, really distracting. And hey, don't totally discount it. I've damaged some stuff as a part of my strategies and it's worked out perfectly fine. Kinda sucks that you've got a time limit on the supersuit though. Doesn't that get kinda inconvenient too? What if you changed back right in the middle of a fight? And thanks, I appreciate it. changing back's almost happened a couple of times, but ladybug (my partner) and i cover for each other well enough that that's not really a problem.
we run off, hide, then either of us can jump in again once we're finished recharging
her superpower solves our problems quickly enough that we don't even need the five minutes most of the time

also not discounting damage. we cut the eiffel tower in half once as part of a plan

plus she can summon an item that solves any problem she has at the moment, as long as she can figure out how to use it

Figured it had to be something that was the opposite. You know how the stories go. Ladybugs bring good luck, black cats bring bad luck. You break it, she fixes it. It just made sense. But the whole summoning thing sounds pretty cool. Even if it involves plans that don't exactly sound real.

Hey, that kinda comes with a price! Origin stories aren't free. But maybe someday soon. Somehow with a name like "akuma" that doesn't surprise me at all. That makes it even more dangerous though doesn't it? When you're taking people and emotions it's a lot more unpredictable than people with just their own two hands. It sounds like a lot to handle for just the two of you.

i'm pretty sure ladybug could handle it all on her own if she wanted to, which means we don't have a lot of trouble with a two person team (most of the time, anyway)

Are you sure you're just not biased because she's your partner? This is all the more reason I really hope I get to meet Ladybug someday. I've got a ton of questions for her suddenly, too. But you're right. I know how it goes. Danger, keeping people out of danger, all that stuff. I think that sounds like a fair trade, even if I'm pretty sure one origin story will be a little more interesting than the other. I just hope it doesn't disappoint you.
